Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam
We will pick you up from the airport and return to the hotel. At night we will have a welcome dinner together. Then your team will meet the team who accompany you on the trip.

Day 2: Hanoi - Pu Luong
On the first day from Hanoi, the delegation will move to Pu Luong and rest there before departing early the following day for the border gate.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve is a microcosm of Northern Vietnam with soaring limestone peaks and deep green terraces dotted with ethnic Thai minority villages, whose native tongue has some overlap with the Thai language of Thailand.

Day 3: Pu Luong - Na Meo Border - Xam Neua (Laos)
Exit Pu Luong Nature Reserve and head to the Lao border gate of Na Meo on the road QL217. This is one of the best rides in Vietnam: Quiet roads meander along steep valleys cloaked in bamboo forests, and mountain passes twist skyward towards isolated Lao border crossings.
After arriving, complete immigration procedures and continue to move to Xam Neua. We will check into our hotel room in Xam Neua and spend the night here.

Day 4: Sam Neua - Phonsavan (The Plain of Jars)
After breakfast, we will leave for Phonsavan. Roughly situated in the northern mountainous parts of Laos, Phonsavan is home to a series of mysterious stone-like Plain of Jars. Experts have put forward many theories as to their creators, purpose, and even the materials used. The most popular guess is that the jars were used as a ‘burial ground.’

Day 5: Phonsavan - Luang Prabang
Early in the morning, we head for Luang Prabang, the former capital of Laos, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage City in 1995.
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang, we checked in at the hotel and had some free time.

Day 6: Luang Prabang free
Lao New Year, also called Pi Mai, is celebrated in April, the hottest month. On this day, people wash their houses and Buddha statues with pure or scented water. Children pour perfumed water on their elders and monks to receive their blessings.
Carry water guns and join in the fun with water fights, parades, dancing, and singing.

Day 7: Luang Prabang - Nan (Thailand)
The motorcycle journey continues with a breathtaking ride along the Mekong River, which includes a few river crossings. Driving your motorcycle through these small rivers is a great way to cool down from the mild heat in Laos.
After border formalities, we will head to Nan. The rest of the evening is free to explore at your own pace.

Day 8: Nan - Chiang Rai
We set off and headed north to our next destination, Chiang Rai. This city is part of the Golden Triangle region bordering Laos and Myanmar (Burma). It’s distinguished by its remote hill tribes, who live in mountainous terrain accessible by trekking.
After arriving in Chiang Rai, we will settle into our hotel. We’ll need to rest up as tomorrow will be a busy day of sightseeing.
