We continue our journey to reach altitudes of over 1000 meters on Ta Xua mountain. Known as the Dinosaur Spine Mountain, Ta Xua is famous for its "Heaven of Cloudy Beach", with its astounding vistas.

After leaving Ta Xua, we will continue riding along the Da River to Chen Pass. Located 1500 meters above sea level, this pass played an essential part in the victory of the Vietnamese military over the French colonizers in the famous Indochina War.

Sapa is nestled in the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and is home to Fansipan, the tallest peak in Indochina, also known as the "Roof of Indochina. It’s worth it for us to spend 1 day here. We will take a cable car to reach the summit at 3,143 meters, where you can immerse yourself in the clouds, or walk around this busy city; either way will give you the best moments.

On this day, we say goodbye to Sapa. We'll ride downhill to Lao Cai town on small trails and arrive at the Lao Cai Border by lunch. The Lao Cai border is one of the busiest borders in Vietnam. You can see China's side; it’s only a few hundred meters to the other side. And, of course, we will try the food that is a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Then we'll ride on a small, smooth, twisty road along the Chinese border. We can explore the famous market of ethnic minorities at Bac Ha market. We'll have lunch in a small border town and arrive in Bac Ha in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at a small family homestay.

After lunch, join the main road heading up to Ha Giang City, where you stop for the night and apply for a permit. You will stay overnight in a hotel.

The ninth day of the Vietnam Motorcycle Tour Fully Explore The North and Ha Long Bay from Dong Van, we ride up to the “king" of the passes in Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng Pass. Sitting at an altitude of approximately 1500m above sea level, the rider can look down on the Nho Que River from an impressive viewpoint called the edge of Tu San Abyss. Though the pass’s length is only about 20 kilometers, it can challenge any first-time driver. We are having lunch in Meo Vac, and then we will take an off-road trip to the bamboo ferry, the most iconic destination we must visit to complete the Ha Giang Loop. Then we ride around 40km to Bao Lac, a small town where we stay tonight.

After that, a ride from Ban Gioc to Lang Son on the famous historical Highway 4. Passing Dong Khe town, the Battle of Route Coloniale 4. The Battle of Dong Khe was a significant battle of the First Indochina War. Lạng Sơn is renowned for its unique position as a cultural and economic bridge between Vietnam and China. The nearby Dong Kinh market offers cheap Chinese products.
