These Terms and Conditions are an integral part of every booking made with Indochina Adventure and constitute acceptance of use. Please review the following provisions carefully before participating in any adventure activities organized by us.
- Tour Operator
Vietnam Adventure Company Limited (operating as “Indochina Adventure”), located at 363/45 Dinh Bo Linh Street, Ward 26, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our services are offered through official communication channels authorized by the company. - Booking Deposit and Payment
To confirm your booking, a security deposit of USD 200 to USD 500 per participant is required. The remaining balance should be settled no later than forty-five (45) days prior to the scheduled departure date.
If full payment is not received within this timeframe, your reservation may be subject to cancellation. Please note that deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied to alternative bookings. - Weather Conditions and Personal Circumstances
Refunds cannot be provided due to unfavorable weather conditions or personal reasons. In some cases, tour schedules or routes may be adjusted due to weather, safety considerations, or unforeseen circumstances. Indochina Adventure is unable to accept responsibility for changes or delays arising from such conditions. - Cancellation Policy
Participants must notify Indochina Adventure in writing of any cancellation. Cancellation fees may apply from the date of final payment up to 30 days prior to departure, as specified in the booking confirmation.
Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing suitable travel insurance to cover unexpected situations such as illness or emergencies. Where possible, and subject to availability, we may offer rescheduling options using your original deposit, with additional fees. - Health and Medical Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate in the tour. Indochina Adventure reserves the right to request medical documentation confirming fitness for travel where deemed necessary. - Tour Schedule and Guide Authority
The tour guide retains full discretion regarding daily routes, schedules, and itinerary adjustments. Changes may be made due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or local circumstances. We regret that compensation cannot be offered for such adjustments. - Flights and External Transport
Please note that Indochina Adventure is not responsible for flight delays or schedule modifications during the tour. Refunds related to such circumstances may not be available. - Travel Insurance
All participants are required to obtain personal travel insurance covering international travel and motorcycle riding. Proof of insurance may be requested. Responsibility for adequate insurance coverage rests entirely with the participant. Any recommendations provided by Indochina Adventure do not constitute liability for insurance coverage. - Personal Belongings
Indochina Adventure is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including items lost or damaged during transportation, storage, or transfer arranged by the tour provider. - Acknowledgement of Risk and Liability
In the event of an accident, Indochina Adventure shall not be held liable for any resulting loss or damage. This includes any obligation to guarantee the safety of participants. Participants acknowledge that Indochina Adventure, its representatives, and affiliates shall not be responsible for any tour-related incidents that may cause injury, property damage, or loss affecting participants or their family members. - Vehicle Substitution
Due to operational requirements such as mechanical failure, accident, or theft, Indochina Adventure reserves the right to substitute motorcycles at any time, including after the tour has commenced. Where applicable, a refund reflecting the difference in vehicle category may be provided. - Insurance Coverage and Damage Responsibility
Vehicles provided by Indochina Adventure include third-party insurance coverage up to USD 5,000, subject to a USD 500 excess for third-party claims.
Participants are responsible for accidental damage up to USD 2,000 if deemed at fault. Normal wear and tear—including minor scratches, insect marks, gravel chips, and paint blemishes—is excluded. Insurance does not cover damage resulting from crashes, dumping, flooding, or off-road impact. - Excess Reduction Policy (ERP)
Participants may purchase an Excess Reduction Policy to reduce the damage excess from USD 2,000 to USD 200 for USD 30 per day. ERP must be purchased prior to the start of the tour and cannot be added once the tour has commenced. - Rider Eligibility and Conduct
All riders must be at least 22 years of age, hold a valid motorcycle license, and have a minimum of two (2) years of riding experience on motorcycles of comparable or greater engine capacity.
Operating a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol or stimulants is strictly prohibited. Indochina Adventure reserves the right to suspend riding privileges or terminate services without refund in cases of unsafe conduct or violation of local laws. - Government Restrictions and Force Majeure
Indochina Adventure shall not be responsible for itinerary changes or cancellations caused by government actions, including road blockages, quarantines, or border closures. Where possible, alternative arrangements or rescheduling may be offered.
Participant’s Confirmation
- By my signature, I confirm that I am over 18 years of age and have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- I agree to sign a Release and Waiver Form prior to participating in any tour organized by Indochina Adventure. I understand that motorcycle travel and adventure activities involve inherent risks related to road conditions, traffic, weather, and other external factors.
- I confirm that I hold a valid motorcycle license, have sufficient riding experience, and am physically and medically fit to participate in the tour.
- I acknowledge that Indochina Adventure, its staff, agents, and partners cannot be held liable for injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur during my participation.
- This confirmation shall be binding upon me and my legal representatives.
